Lehi Roller Mills Historical Marker Unveiling 🏛️
The public is invited to celebrate the Lehi Roller Mills historical marker unveiling of the on Saturday, September 28th at 10 a.m. A member of the Robinson family, owners for three generations, will speak, and the Skyridge Ballroom Dance Team will perform a "Footloose" number. The event marks the fourth of 36 historical markers planned through the Lehi Historical Marker Program. Refreshments will include Lehi Mills muffins.
Lehi Bakery’s Halloween Donut Decorating Class 🍩
Lehi Bakery is bringing back their popular Halloween donuts this October! On October 26th, they’re hosting a fun, hands-on decorating class where you can learn to design Ghost, Monster Foot, and Spider donuts. The class costs $15 per kit of 10 donuts, and it's perfect for friends and families.

Senator Mike Kennedy to Run for Congress 🏛️
Utah State Senator Mike Kennedy has resigned to pursue a seat in Congress. A special election will be held to fill his vacant seat in the Utah Senate. Kennedy’s decision comes as he shifts his focus toward federal office, leaving the local political landscape in need of a quick replacement.
Proposition 11: New School District on the Ballot 🗳️
Lehi residents, along with voters from several neighboring cities, will decide on Proposition 11 this November. The proposition asks whether a new school district should be created. The city council voted unanimously to give citizens the chance to make this decision.

UDOT Road Update: Lane Change on Main Street 🚧
UDOT has announced a change to the eastbound right turn lane at 850 E Main St, near McDonald's. Starting late Wednesday night, September 25, the lane will be converted to a through-right lane, effective Thursday morning, September 26. Drivers should plan accordingly for this adjustment.
Roadwork Update: Merging Traffic on 2300 West 🚧
Lehi City is alerting drivers about a temporary merge situation on southbound 2300 West between 1400 North and 1350 North, where two lanes will merge into one until the new configuration down to Main Street is completed. Improvements are also being made on 2100 North, including a dedicated right turn lane and a signalized intersection at 2510 North, with sidewalk upgrades expected to finish before winter. Additionally, rotomilling and asphalt paving will commence on October 6th, leading to traffic restrictions, so residents are encouraged to exercise caution in the construction areas.
Library Closure Announcement 📚
The Lehi Library will be closed on September 28th. Residents should plan accordingly and check for any updates regarding reopening or scheduled events.
Lehi City Hiring Apprentice Line Worker ⚡️
Lehi City is seeking an Apprentice Line Worker, with applications open until October 14, 2024. This position offers training in the installation, maintenance, and repair of power distribution systems, both underground and above ground. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, troubleshooting equipment, and assisting with emergency calls. Candidates with prior apprenticeship experience will have a starting wage determined accordingly.
Lehi City Hiring Journey Line Worker ⚡️
Lehi City is now accepting applications for a Journey Line Worker, with a closing date of October 14, 2024. This full-time position in the Power Department involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of power distribution systems. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with emergency calls. Candidates will also engage in public communications regarding outages and perform various tasks related to power line work.
