Community Fundraiser for Single Mom Fighting Cancer 🎗️

Join the community on September 21st for a special fundraising event to support Jerilyn, a single mom battling breast cancer. The event will feature a yard sale, raffle, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, train rides, Swig cards, and more! All proceeds will help cover medical bills, child care, and lost income during her recovery. Let's come together to support Jerilyn as she prepares for her double mastectomy on September 24.

Lehi Fiber Open House Event 💻

Lehi residents and business owners are invited to the Lehi Fiber Open House on September 24, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Wines Park. Attendees will meet internet service providers and project reps for the Lehi Fiber Network and can ask questions about the project. Plus, there’s a chance to win one of three iPads—just be sure you're a Lehi resident!

Cornbelly's Fun & Festivities 🎃

Cornbelly's is back at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, offering a variety of fall-themed activities for all ages. From navigating the iconic corn maze and picking pumpkins to blasting apple cannons and exploring haunted trails, there’s something for everyone. Special events this year include a Halloween lights show, dog performances, duck races, and even a Disney ventriloquist. Don’t miss the trick-or-treat parade or the chance to enjoy farm-fresh food while you're there!

Breeze Announces Provo to D.C. Nonstop Flights ✈️

Breeze Airways has announced new nonstop flights from Provo to Washington, D.C., beginning November 2. This new service will connect Utah County to the nation's capital with affordable fares. Breeze continues to expand its Provo offerings, with D.C. becoming the airline's 10th destination from the area.

Beltran Appointed Interim Utah County Commissioner 🏛️

Rudy Beltran has been selected as the interim Utah County Commissioner following Tom Sakievich's resignation. Beltran, known for his legal and business background, will serve until a permanent commissioner is elected. His appointment aims to maintain continuity in the county’s leadership during this transitional period.

American Heritage School Celebrates Constitution Day 🇺🇸

Central School District Vote Coming in November 🏫

In November, residents of Lehi and neighboring cities will vote on creating a new school district. The proposal, endorsed by the city council, will lead to a structured timeline if approved: electing a new school board in November 2025, transitioning to new district operations by July 2027, and more. 

Spotlight on Puffs Cast: Maurs Squires as Susie Bones 🎭

Meet Maurs Squires, who will shine as Susie Bones in the upcoming production of Puffs! Maurs recalls their first role as a zebra in The Lion King and currently enjoys pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. They love the camaraderie in the Puffs cast and feel a special connection with their fellow performers. Although Maurs identifies as a Hufflepuff, online quizzes suggest Gryffindor. CIVIL NEWS

Get Registered for the 2024 Election 🗳️

Around 1 in 4 eligible Americans are not registered to vote. If you're unsure about your registration status, head here to check. Key 2024 election dates include: ballots mailed between October 15 and 29, the last day to register by October 25, and the General Election on November 5. Make sure your ballot is postmarked by November 4!

Lehi City Council Meeting 🏛️

The next Lehi City Council meeting is scheduled for September 24 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 153 North 100 East. Residents are welcome to attend in person or view the live stream online via the Public Meetings and Notices page. The stream will be available once the meeting starts.

Job Opening: Gymnastics Equipment Personnel 🤸‍♂️

Lehi Legacy Center is hiring for Gymnastics Equipment Personnel with shifts available at various times throughout the week. Responsibilities include setting up, taking down, and cleaning gymnastics equipment. Candidates should be able to lift at least 25 lbs and work cooperatively. Availability for evening shifts is required.
