EVENTS
Community Fundraiser for Single Mom Fighting Cancer 🎗️
Join the community on September 21st for a special fundraising event to support Jerilyn, a single mom battling breast cancer. The event will feature a yard sale, raffle, bounce houses, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, train rides, Swig cards, and more! All proceeds will help cover medical bills, child care, and lost income during her recovery. Let's come together to support Jerilyn as she prepares for her double mastectomy on September 24.

Helen Keller Artifacts Lecture 🏛️
A special lecture at the Hutchings Museum is happening on September 19th at 7 p.m., featuring artifacts from Helen Keller. Local historian Brent Ferrin Ashworth will present "Insights from Artifacts" as part of a monthly series, held every third Thursday. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children.
Family Park Opening and Hours Update 🌳
Lehi City successfully opened Family Park on September 14, but park hours are still being finalized. Contrary to online rumors, the park isn’t scheduled to be closed on Sundays indefinitely. However, due to staffing, it was closed Sunday, September 15, and will not open on Sunday, September 22. The City Council is set to discuss the park's hours on September 24. Unfortunately, some individuals caused damage by breaking into the park and using scooters on the splash pad.
Current hours: Monday - Saturday, 9 am - Sunset; Splash Pad: 10 am - Sunset, weather permitting. Sunday hours are still to be determined.
Skyridge Floral of the Month Program 🌸
Brighten your day and support student learning with the Skyridge Floral of the Month program! Each month, students, faculty, staff, and community members can purchase beautiful flower arrangements for $25. These arrangements are sold at wholesale cost, covering only the supplies, giving students hands-on classroom experience. You can buy all four arrangements for the semester or one at a time. Monthly themes include Homecoming, Halloween, Cornucopia, and Christmas.
