Weekend Fun at Market Lane 🎶

Enjoy live music, food trucks, and the Outdoor Makers Market at Market Lane this weekend! On Friday, August 16th, Taya Fitzgerald will perform, accompanied by Maize Tacos. On Saturday, August 17th, from 12 PM to 7 PM, catch performances by Katie Ainge, Doc Young, Larry & Andrea, and The Amigos, with food from Ricochet Ice Cream and Apollo Burger.

Family Bonding Night at Ashton Gardens 🌳

The Lehi Cares Coalition is hosting a Family Bonding Night at Ashton Gardens on August 19th, 2024, from 6-9 PM. Lehi residents can enjoy free entry by showing their Lehi ID at the event booth. There will be a photo booth, swag, and family bonding resources available.

Lehi Serves, a community organization focused on volunteerism, has officially gained nonprofit status. To celebrate, they're organizing a community service event on September 7th, 2024. This event will involve various projects across Lehi, encouraging residents to come together and make a difference in their community.

Lehi Siblings Win DAR Essay and Video Contests 🏆

Kate and Guard Fowler, home-schooled siblings from Lehi, have won prestigious contests sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution. Kate, 16, earned an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., for her essay "What America Means to Me," while 12-year-old Guard won $500 for his video "Why I Love America." Their trip included memorable visits to iconic sites and even a chance encounter with political protests. The experience deepened their appreciation for American history and democracy.

Back to School Safety Tips for Lehi Students 🎒

As students head back to school, safety is a top priority! Whether walking or driving, everyone needs to stay alert. Remember to look both ways before crossing, make eye contact with drivers, and always follow the crossing guard's instructions. Put the phone away and stay focused on getting to school safely. Let’s all do our part to keep Lehi’s students safe!

Rainy Weather Safety Tips for Lehi 🌧️

Lehi, with the rain continuing, it’s crucial to stay safe on the roads. Remember to turn on your headlights, maintain a 3-second following distance, and avoid tailgating large vehicles to keep visibility clear. Watch for pedestrians who might not see you, drive slowly, and be cautious of skidding or hydroplaning. Let’s all stay safe and look out for each other during this rainy weather!

A huge thank you to the Lehi City Arts Council for a spectacular summer of Arts in the Park! The community came together to enjoy incredible talent and creativity, forging strong bonds through shared appreciation. CIVIL NEWS

North Point Elementary Traffic Update 🚧

With North Point Elementary opening Thursday, a new crosswalk is being installed on 2300 West, and all street parking is permanently removed. Paving at key intersections is expected to finish by Wednesday. Starting Monday, August 19th, expect a temporary lane closure on 2100 North. Read the full update on the official website.

Civic Center Progress Update 📢

Big changes are happening with Lehi's new Civic Center! The foundation is being poured, and the building will begin to rise soon. The library has temporarily relocated to allow for the construction. Upgrades to 200 N and 100 East, including drainage and parking, are moving along and should be done by early September.

Notice of Proposed Tax Increase for Lehi City 💰

Lehi City has published a notice regarding a proposed property tax increase. The increase is intended to support essential city services and infrastructure improvements. The notice includes details on the potential impact on property owners and invites residents to a public hearing  on August 20th at 6 PM for further discussion.
