A MESSAGE FROM KILN

After a recent trip to Europe, my wife noted the importance of third places in facilitating a vibrant sense of community. I had never heard the term. Third places refer to social environments outside of the home (first place) and the workplace (second place). Many sociologists agree that third places are anchors of community life and facilitate broader, more creative interaction - it's where you relax in public. Examples of third places are bookstores, libraries, cafés, gyms, parks, and even stoops.

Luckily, we have found such a third place at Kiln in Lehi!

Kiln is a flexible coworking space in the heart of Silicon Slopes - embedded at the center of Utah's tech ecosystem. Whether you are simply looking to host a one-time meeting/event or find a more permanent work environment for teams of 1-100, Kiln offers solutions to meet your needs.

With its extensive amenities, events, clubs, and experiences, we're confident that you'll find Kiln to be that third place you didn't know you were looking for!

Donkey Basketball - Bring it back!

We absolutely loved this post from the Lehi Historical Society describing an incredible pastime wherein high school faculty faced off against local business people in a game of basketball, all while mounted on donkeys.
