We love a good state holiday! And what better way to celebrate Utah’s unique heritage than Pioneer Day. Yesterday marked the start of the fireworks discharge period. You can set off fireworks from 11 AM to 11 PM thru July 25, with extended hours until midnight on July 24th. Enjoy the festivities!

Trash pickup in Lehi will follow the normal schedule during Pioneer Day on July 24th. Waste Management does not recognize Pioneer Day as a holiday, so there will be no delays in service this week.

Public Hearing on Central School District 📚

Tonight at 7:00 PM is the second public hearing on the proposed Central School District. Your feedback is crucial! Share your thoughts at the hearing or on the Central School District website. The comment period ends August 2. This new district, coordinated with six neighboring cities, could potentially reduce future property taxes and manage student growth more effectively than the current Alpine School District.

City Council Meeting Items 🏛️

Key items on the regular agenda tonight are amendments to fire regulations for hyperbaric facilities and a resolution to approve an agreement with Ice America for constructing a temporary ice rink. Comments close today at 3:10 PM, so don’t forget to submit your opinion!

Planning Commission Meeting Preview 📅
